Florida guard Kajus Kublickas is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report by basketball insider Jeff Goodman. Kublickas spent two seasons in Gainesville.

He had a limited impact. After appearing in nine games during his freshman season, Kublickas appeared in just six during the team’s national championship season this winter.

Kublickas averaged 0.7 points and 1.2 rebounds per game during his time on the court in 2024-25. He finished his Florida career without a made 3-pointer, attempting only one across his 15 games.

From Lithuania, Kajus Kublickas has gotten some good experience playing internationally. He helped Lithuania to a 5-2 record and a fifth-place finish at the FIFA U20 Eurobasket, where he averaged 11.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

He also competed in the FIBA U20 European Championships in 2023. In that tournament, he averaged 6.3 points and 3.1 assists per game.

While Kajus Kublickas will be departing the program, Florida is also expected to add multiple guards from the transfer portal this offseason. The Gators have already expressed interest in a very talented one.

Ohio guard AJ Brown entered the transfer portal on Wednesday afternoon and has immediately become a name to know for the Gators. Brown entered the portal with a do not contact tag, too.

Brown, the older brother of Florida true freshman guard Isaiah Brown, is a former MAC All-Freshman Team selection. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound redshirt sophomore averaged 13.2 points per game this season while shooting 38.8% from beyond.

An Orlando native, Brown missed the majority of the 2023-24 season due to injury, playing in only nine games. As a true freshman in 2022-23, the shooting guard averaged 10.3 points and 2.5 rebounds. The Gators are expected to be buyers in the backcourt with Walter Clayton Jr.Alijah Martin and Will Richard set to depart.

On3’s Pete Nakos also contributed to this report.
