Florida jumps in On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking following Aidan Mizell commitment
Florida landed a big-time prospect Friday. in Orlando (Fla.) Boone four-star wide receiver and top-100 recruit Aidan Mizell.
The move resulted in the 2023 Gators recruiting class making a jump in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking to No. 13 overall. The class now has 14 commits, 11 of which are four-star players.
Mizell is the second Florida commit in two days after Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola four-star cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson. The Gators have four wideout commits: Mizell, Tampa (Fla.) Gaither four-star wide receiver Eugene Wilson III, Gainesville (Fla.) F. W. Buchholz four-star wide receiver Creed Whittemore and Eustis (Fla.) three-star wide receiver Tyree Patterson.
Aidan Mizell is Florida’s top commit
With his commitment, Aidan Mizell becomes the top-rated recruit in the 2023 Gators recruiting class. He is the No. 93 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

However, Mizell is ranked much higher by On3, who is highest on him in the industry. The 2023 On300 ranking slots Mizell as the No. 44 overall player and No. 5 wideout.
The only four wide receivers ranked ahead of Mizell are Las Vegas Bishop Gorman Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Zachariah Branch, San Jose (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey, Rolesville (N.C.) five-star wide receiver Noah Rogers and Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic five-star wide receiver Shelton Sampson Jr.
Mizell currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $122k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes.
