Florida offensive lineman O'Cyrus Torrence declares for 2023 NFL Draft
Florida offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence has officially made a decision on his future on whether or not to enter the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Louisiana transfer who quickly became a mainstay for the Gators in 2022 will enter the draft.
Torrence spent the last year in Gainesville after following first-year head coach Billy Napier to Florida via the transfer portal. He immediately won a starting job at right guard, helping anchor the interior of UF’s offensive line and bring other linemen up to speed in the new scheme.
He can play, though.
The former Louisiana star quickly became Florida’s top offensive lineman on a team that was fairly effective running the football all year long. He participated in the team’s Senior Day festivities on Nov. 12 prior to a game against South Carolina.
Torrence earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors on Nov. 7 after his performance in a 291-yard rushing outing against Texas A&M. He repeated the feat one week later after Florida ran for 374 yards against South Carolina.
