Leesburg (Va.) four-star offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal received an offer from Florida on Tuesday night. He announced the news on social media.

Westphal is the No. 196 overall prospect and No. 11 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Virginia.

On3 rates Westphal higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 119 overall prospect and No. 9 offensive tackle.

The 6-foot-8, 295 pound prospect has received 33 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for Westphal’s commitment since only two programs have a 10% or better chance to land his pledge. Maryland has the best odds for Westphal at 14%, while Virginia Tech has the next-best chance at 12.2%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Gators’ 2024 recruiting class currently contains two commitments. They are Atlanta Woodward Academy four-star linebacker Myles Graham and North Palm Beach (Fla.) The Benjamin School four-star running back Chauncey Bowens.

Westphal has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
