Florida offers elite 2024 prospects Landen Thomas, Ny Carr
Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County wide receiver Ny Carr and tight end Landen Thomas made their way to Florida for a visit on Tuesday, and both came away with an offer from the Gators’ coaching staff.
Carr is the No. 34 prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 6 wide receiver and the No. 8 sophomore in Georgia.
The Industry Comparison shows On3 is slightly higher on Carr than the rest of the recruiting industry. In the initial 2024 On300, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 18 prospect, No. 3 wide receiver and No. 3 player in the Peach State.

Thomas, meanwhile, is the country’s No. 38 overall prospect, No. 1 tight end and No. 9 prospect in Georgia.
The Gators will have stiff competition for both, namely from in-state Georgia. The Bulldogs are considered the early leaders for Ny Carr, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). In the case of Thomas, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State and Michigan are among the schools heavily in the mix early on.
