Florida PF Alex Condon declares for 2025 NBA Draft, will maintain NCAA eligibility

Florida power forward Alex Condon declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. He will also maintain his eligibility.
Condon is a projected first-round pick in this summer’s draft. However, if he doesn’t feel like he’s in a good position, he can return to college basketball next year.
In 37 games last season, Condon helped lead Florida to a national title, a win over Houston. He averaged 10.6 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game, 2.2 assists per game, shot 49.3% from the floor and 32.8% from three-point range.
Now that he’s played two years in college, Condon’s stock rose. But he’ll go through the NBA Draft process before a final decision.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Condon was a three-star recruit out of Perth (Australia) and played at the NBA Global Academy, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 231 overall prospect in the class and the No. 47 power forward in the class.

“We have a lot of guys in our program that have the ability to come back,” head coach Todd Golden said. “We’re going to make sure we focus on getting those guys back in our program.”
Condon all but confirmed this was going to be the plan following the national championship. He’ll weigh his options.
“I’m probably going to test the waters to see the feedback I get from different teams, but I’m still hoping to come back to college and prove myself another year,” Condon said. “I know the 3-point shot is the next step in my development, just being able to make plays. Passing the ball as well. Just continually building my offensive game and being more of an offensive threat out there.”
