Everybody is excited about the release of EA Sports College Football 25. For over a decade, college football fans have not had a fresh video game to play, deferring to the latest version released in the summer of 2013. Well, the wait is finally almost over and EA Sports has done a great job showing the process going into making the game.

Apparently, nobody has been more helpful to them than the Florida Gators. Todd Papadatos, the leader producer on EA Sports College Football 25, discussed all the way Florida has helped them out. Bringing the team to Gainesville on three different occasions, they were able to use laser technology around the program.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, uniforms, and even the practice facility were all scanned and set to be a part of the game.

“With the scan technology we’re using — we’re using laser scanning,” Papadatos said in a video released by the Florida Football X account. “We’ve got a device called the metrascan. What this allows us to do is scan that object in minutes vs. it used to take us weeks to sculpt these assets… No one has gone above and beyond like the Florida Gators. You’ve had us here three times and we’ve been able to capture more than we could have asked for.”

Florida even brought things to the table that EA Sports may have not even asked for like Albert’s head or the Heisman Trophy. A cool dive into the process and a look at how the Gators will be showcased in the game set to release in the coming days.

There is a good chance Florida fans will fire up dynasty mode and take control of the Gators from the get-go. Multiple options will be there at the beginning of the dynasty. You can either become Billy Napier and continue on or create your own head coach, potentially starting over.

Either way, a ton of cool features are there to make the experience as authentic as possible. A partnership between EA Sports and the program only adds value to the experience, maybe making it better than any other out there.

For people preordering the game, EA Sports College Football 25 will be available beginning on July 16, three days early. Otherwise, July 19 will be the date in what should be a college football filled weekend across the country.
