Report: Florida without two key defensive linemen vs. Arkansas
Florida will be without two key defensive linemen against Arkansas on Saturday, according to a report from Sports Illustrated.
SI’s Zach Goodall reports that defensive tackle Cam Jackson and defensive lineman Tyreak Sapp will both miss the contest due to upper-body injuries. Both had been listed on Florida’s mid-week depth chart as questionable with the injuries.
The absence of the two defensive linemen will sting for Florida, particularly in a potentially physical game up front against Arkansas.
Jackson has logged 25 tackles, a half tackle for a loss and a pass breakup, while Sapp has logged 17 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry.
The news on the opposite side of the equation is mixed.
Arkansas will be without leading rusher Rashod Dubinion, due to the tailback attending his grandmother’s funeral. Dubinion led the team in rushing this season with 260 yards and a touchdown on 79 carries.

But the Razorbacks are expected to get back 2022 leading rusher Raheim Sanders, who has been plagued by injuries this season.
Sanders has played in just three games this season and has never really gotten rolling, failing to top the 100-yard mark in any outing.
He’s got 34 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns, as well as seven catches for 58 yards.
But Sanders’ potential is far beyond what those numbers might suggest. He’s already proven it as one of the league’s best rushers in 2022. Sanders was an absolute monster last season.
The Arkansas tailback tallied 1,426 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns. He also added 28 catches for 271 yards and two touchdowns. Florida’s defensive linemen will have their work cut out for them trying to slow him down in his return.
Florida and Arkansas are set to kick off at noon ET on ESPN2.
