Devon Manuel, a former offensive lineman for Arkansas, has committed to Florida out of the transfer portal.

Manuel shared his announcement in a post on Twitter with a video on Friday.

Manuel, at 6’9 and around 300 pounds, just completed his third season in Fayetteville as a redshirt sophomore. In total, he appeared in 10 contests while with the ‘Hogs. Most of that came during this past season as he appeared in nine of their games with four of them being starts.

Manuel played high school football at Beau Chene (LA) where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,049 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as a Top-100 OT and the No. 33 player out of Louisiana in his class.

Manuel is now the seventh addition for Billy Napier and the Gators out of the portal. He will join Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson (San Diego State) as commitments that will join the offensive line for Florida in 2024.
