Four-Star PF Sammie Yeanay sets official visit to Florida
Sammie Yeanay, a four-star power forward in the 2024 class, has scheduled his first official visit. The 6-foot-9 rising senior will officially visit the Florida Gators on October 5-8, he told On3.
Yeanay is a native of Florida, playing last season at The Rock School in Gainesville. He has since transferred out west to Compass Prep, located in Chandler, Ariz.
Yeanay ranks as the No. 103 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 18 power forward in the class and the No. 7 player in Arizona.

The four-star big man has previously unofficially visited the Gators, along with trips to Wake Forest and South Carolina.
He also holds offers from Alabama, Texas Tech, Houston, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Arizona State, and others.
