On3 No. 1 OT Jonathan Daniels visits Florida

Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest five-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels visited Florida last weekend. It marked his first trip to Gainesville in 2023.

Daniels shared photos from his visit to the Gators on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound recruit told Donovan Keiser of Gators Online that he enjoyed his time at Florida.

“This is my first time seeing the new facility because last time I was looking at the game,” Daniels said on March 4. “But everything looks amazing, the pool, the dorms, the apartments and the new facility.”

“This is where I can fit in, like it’s meant for me,” he added. “Or more so, I can develop here.”

Daniels is the No. 108 overall prospect and No. 6 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 16 player in Florida and a four-star recruit.

On3 rates Daniels higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is a five-star recruit, the No. 9 overall prospect, No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 3 player in Florida.

The Florida native holds 19 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida State has a commanding lead for his commitment at 91.3%.
