Florida slugger Jud Fabian has been having a spectacular Sunday night in the Gainesville Regional in the 2022 NCAA Tournament matchup between the Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners. Earlier in the matchup, he belted his 23rd home run of the season. Then, in the top of the 8th inning, Fabian delivered yet again when his team needed him the most, crushing his 24th home run of the year.

Check it out below.

It’s the 10th career multi-home run game for the Gators’ slugger. Not only that, Fabian also cemented himself in Florida Gators’ history. With his 24th home run of the year, he currently ranks third on the all-time Gators’ single season home run list, right behind Matt LaPorta (26) and Wyatt Langford (25).

Fabian’s second solo shot was critical, putting Florida up 4-2 in the top of the 8th inning. The Gators defeated Oklahoma 7-2 on Sunday night and Fabian’s home runs were a big part of that.

Florida will get a rematch with Oklahoma on Monday afternoon at 1:00 PM EST. The winner of that game punches their tickets to the Super Regional.
