He was the first player to decommit from Notre Dame after Brian Kelly left the school for LSU.

In the aftermath of that decommitment, GatorsOnline’s Corey Bender said he felt that Florida was in a good position to land Moore.

Devin Moore had a great senior season and was one of the biggest risers in the most recent On300 ranking.

“The early graduate is long, and rangy at corner on senior tape,” On3 National Analyst Gerry Hamilton said. “He has the ability to stay attached, along with the arm length to create vision issues for receivers. He uses his combination of length and timing to defend 50-50 balls with PBUs. On3 projects at safety, but there is enough quality tape at corner to get a look there in South Bend. Moore has been very active on senior tape. He’s shown the ability to dislodge the ball from ball carries.”
