According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Florida offensive lineman Micah Mazzccua is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal. After spending just one season in Gainesville, Mazzccua will look to finish out his college career at his third school.

This one is going to hurt for the Gators, with Mazzccua starting in all but one game at the right guard position. He was a staple across the offensive line, attempting to block for quarterback Graham Mertz. Now, head coach Billy Napier will have to replace another body up front.

As mentioned, this will be Mazzcua’s second time going through the transfer process. He started out his career at Baylor, spending three seasons with the Bears. This is just the latest example of a second-time transfer after a recent TRO issued by a judge.

Mazzccua played high school football at Baltimore (MD) St. Frances Academy, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 676 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
