Tennessee 2025 CB commit Dylan Lewis plans to take Florida official visit
Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton 2025 three-star cornerback Dylan Lewis was on campus at Florida for the first time this weekend, where he received an offer from the Gators. As a result, Lewis now plans to take an official visit to Gainesville over the summer, he told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons.
Lewis told Simmons that he likes new defensive backs coach Will Harris. Harris spent the 2023 season with the Los Angeles Chargers.
“I’m very interested in them,” Lewis said of the Gators. “They seem to be making the right decisions and are headed in the right direction.”
Lewis part of top-10 Tennessee class
Lewis is currently committed to Tennessee. He pledged to Tennessee in October, choosing the Vols over Clemson and LSU.
“I never really had a timeline,” Lewis told On3 at the time. “It was always about when I felt right. After the game I was after a couple of weeks ago, I knew it. Once the game was over, I was with Coach Josh Heupel in the office and that is when I committed. I told him about my decision, then Coach Willie Martinez came in and gave me a hug when he found out. On that visit, it hit me and my mind was made up.”

Lewis chose the Vols for multiple reasons.
“I love the atmosphere at Tennessee, how the players and coaches interact with each other and how the program has changed under Coach Heupel.
“Tennessee signed elite players in 2023, they have elite players in 2024 and that is going to continue in 2025. Coach Heupel has quickly changed the culture at Tennessee and they are definitely going to make a national championship run in the coming years.”
The 5-foot-11.5, 180-pound Lewis is the nation’s No. 419 overall prospect and No. 47 cornerback in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 45 recruit in Georgia.
