2024 4-star DL David Stone offered by Florida State

2024 Oklahoma City (Okla.) IMG Academy four-star defensive lineman David Stone received an offer from Florida State on Wednesday. He announced the news on social media.

Stone is the No. 19 overall prospect and No. 2 defensive lineman in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-4, 270 pound prospect has received offers from some of the top programs in college football. They include Miami, Michigan and Oklahoma.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Sooners have a commanding lead to land Stone’s commitment at 98.4%. Stone has visited Norman multiple times during his recruiting process.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Regarding Florida State, the Seminoles’ 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 4 in the 2024 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 1 in the ACC. The group includes Albany (Ga.) Dougherty four-star running back Kameron Davis, Blountstown (Fla.) four-star safety Jordan Pride, Live Oak (Fla.) Suwannee four-star wide receiver Camdon Frier, Atlanta Woodward Academy three-star safety CJ Heard, Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School three-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek and Quincy (Fla.) Robert F. Munroe Day School defensive lineman Keishawn Mashburn.

If Stone chooses the Seminoles, he would give head coach Mike Norvell and his staff two top-30 recruits in the 2024 cycle. Davis is the No. 30 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Stone has an On3 NIL Valuation of $125K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
