2024 DL Keishawn Mashburn commits to Florida State
Mike Norvell picked up an in-state commitment on Saturday when Florida State landed a pledge from 2024 Quincy (Fla.) Robert F. Munroe Day School defensive lineman Keishawn Mashburn. The 6-foot-3, 260 pound defender chose the Seminoles over Georgia Tech and Oregon.
Mashburn is a three-star recruit, the No. 60 defensive lineman and No. 91 player in Florida according to On3. Last year for Munroe, he recorded 46 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, five sacks, two passes defended and a fumble recovery.
Mashburn is now a part of the nation’s No. 2 class in the 2024 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. Other members of Florida State’s group include Albany (Ga.) Dougherty four-star running back Kameron Davis, Blountstown (Fla.) four-star safety Jordan Pride, Live Oak (Fla.) Suwannee four-star wide receiver Camdon Frier and Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School three-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek.
With the exception of Mashburn, all pledges in the Seminoles’ 2024 class are top-400 prospects. Davis currently ranks as the No. 32 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.
