4-star DL Keith Sampson Jr. commits to Florida State

New Bern (N.C.) four-star defensive lineman Keith Sampson Jr. announced on social media Saturday his commitment to Florida State.
Clemson, Georgia, NC State, Ohio State, and South Carolina were Sampson’s original top five schools before the Seminoles were swapped in for the Bulldogs.
Sampson is the No. 168 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Rolesville (N.C.) four-star wide receiver Noah Rogers, South Point (Belmont (N.C.) four-star offensive tackle Sullivan Absher and Harrisburg (N.C.) Hickory Ridge four-star wide receiver Christian Hamilton are the only players from North Carolina ranked head of him in the 2023 class.
He is the fifth commit in the Florida State recruiting class, joining Miami Gulliver Prep four-star EDGE Lamont Green Jr., Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood four-star quarterback Chris Parson, Fort Pierce (Fla.) Fort Pierce Westwood three-star wide receiver Vandrevius Jacobs and Lynn Haven (Fla.) A. Crawford Mosley three-star tight end Randy Pittman.
