He has logged 120 career tackles, 8.0 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and two passes defended.
His high-water mark came as a third-year player in 2022, when Riley recorded 65 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss and one pass defended.
Prior to enrolling at Auburn, Cam Riley was ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 257 overall recruit in the nation in the 2020 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 32 linebacker in the class and the No. 11 overall player in the state of Alabama, hailing from Evergreen (AL) Hillcrest.
Florida State loses two to the transfer portal
While Florida State has made an addition via the transfer portal in the likes of Cam Riley, it has also suffered some attrition to the portal in recent weeks.
On3 has learned that defensive back Jaden Floyd and wide receiver Jeremiad Giedrys have now entered the portal.

Floyd spent three seasons at FSU after coming out of the 2021 class while Giedrys was a redshirt senior who’;d hardly ever gotten on the field for the Seminoles.
Neither player came out of high school ranked as recruits and the only one to record a stat of any kind on the field for FSU was Floyd. He made one tackle in the only game he appeared in last fall. Giedrys has also gotten on the field a few times but failed to register any numbers.
The ‘Noles lost others recently, including wide receiver Vandrevius Jacobs, who entered the transfer portal after a season with the program.
Jacobs played in three games this season to preserve his redshirt. In modest playing time, Jacobs finished with three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown last season.
He’ll now look elsewhere to continue his college football career.
