According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Florida State defensive lineman Joshua Farmer is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Farmer spent three seasons with the program but will now look to continue his college career elsewhere.

If Farmer does wind up on the open market, he would likely be incredibly sought after. He has been productive during his time with Florida State and coming from the defensive lineman position, not too many of them enter the portal.

In 13 games this season with the Seminoles, Farmer recorded 32 tackles and 7.0 tackles for loss. He was in opposing team’s backfields nearly on a weekly basis. Farmer put up good numbers when looking at the pass rush, earning 5.0 sacks and two quarterback hurries.

Farmer played high school football at Apalachicola (FL) Gadsden County, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 641 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
