Early odds, points spreads released for two Florida State football games
Florida State had an impressive 2022 season in year three under head coach Mike Norvell. The Seminoles finished the season 10-3, capped off with a 35-32 Cheez-It Bowl victory over Oklahoma. They’ve improved every season under Norvel, and will look to build off of last year’s success and secure their first ACC Championship since 2014.
The season may be months away, but the odds and point spread has been released for two of the Seminoles marquee matchups in September. Florida State will open the season up the season with the same opponent they did last year, LSU, in the Camping World Kickoff in Orlando, Florida. Then three weeks later, the Seminoles face Clemson on the road in their second conference game of the season.

LSU Tigers vs Florida State Seminoles (-1) | Sep. 2, 12:00 p.m. ET
Florida State Seminoles at Clemson Tigers (+3) | Sep. 23, (Time TBD)
Both games are rematches from last year, as the Seminoles defeated the Tigers 24-23 in one of the most exciting games in Week 1 of college football. Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis and LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels had an epic dual threat duel that would springboard into two amazing seasons for the both of them. Daniels ended the night with 209 passing yards and two touchdowns, and was also the Tigers’ leading rusher with 114 yards on the ground. Travis threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns of his own, along with 31 rushing yards and a win for the Seminoles.
Clemson was one of three teams to get the best of Florida State last season, defeated the Seminoles in Tallahassee 34-28. The Tigers were ranked No. 4 in the country at the time and scored 27 unanswered points in the second and third quarters to run away with the win. Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei threw for three touchdowns in the contest, but the Seminoles will now face rising star Cade Klubnik, who led Clemson to an ACC Championship win in his freshman season.
