FSU trending for WR Elijah Moore according to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine
A new leader is atop the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) for Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) four-star wide receiver Elijah Moore. According to the RPM, Florida State has an 83.0% chance to land Moore’s pledge. Sitting in second is Ohio State at 15.5%.
Florida State surged ahead of the Buckeyes after Moore took an official visit to Tallahassee last weekend. Multiple predictions have been entered in favor of the Seminoles by The Wolverine’s EJ Holland, Warchant’s Michael Langston, Lettermen Row’s Matt Parker and On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman.
“They’ve stuck with me,” Moore told Warchant after his visit. “Coach Norvell, I trust him. I trust Coach (Ron) Dugans. It’s like a family up there. I trust everybody.”
According to Warchant, Moore loved Florida State’s family atmosphere. The Seminoles offered him a scholarship in eighth grade, and that offer remains.
“All I’m gonna say is FSU is No. 1 right now,” Moore said.
Moore is a four-star prospect ranked No. 345 overall and No. 59 among wide receivers in the On3 Industry Ranking. He previously took an official visit to Ohio State earlier in June after taking unofficial visits to Florida State and Florida this spring.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound receiver is expected to announce his decision on July 4. His extensive offer list includes programs like Penn State, Florida, Michigan and USC in addition to the Seminoles and Buckeyes. Moore took multiple visits to State College, but never officially visited the Nittany Lions.
Moore currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $31K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Florida State maintains top-15 class
Florida State is looking for its first commitment in the 2024 class since April when the Seminoles landed elite Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) five-star tight end Landen Thomas. Thomas’ commitment came just days after four-star receivers Lawayne McCoy and BJ Gibson pledged to Florida State.
The Seminoles currently hold the No. 15 class in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, thus far up from No. 19 for the class of 2023. In addition to Thomas, the group also features two more top-100 prospects: running back Kam Davis and quarterback Luke Kromenhoek.
