Florida offensive line transfer Richie Leonard commits to Florida State
Florida offensive lineman Richie Leonard has committed to rival Florida State out of the NCAA transfer portal.
Leonard spent the past four years in the Swamp suiting up for the Gators, gradually increasing his role on the interior of the offensive line. While the majority of his reps came at guard, he can play center as well, providing the Seminoles with some real versatility.
The 6-foot-2, 310-pound lineman appeared in 31 games over the last three seasons, starting 14 of them.
Leonard played high school football at Cocoa (FL) where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 666 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as Top-50 IOL in the class and a Top-100 player out of Florida.
