Florida State coaches visiting 4-star wide receiver Kevin Coleman
St. Louis (Mo.) St. Mary’s wide receiver Kevin Coleman will be busy preparing for his team’s state championship game today. But one of his biggest suitors is sending a pair of coaches to see him.
According to 247Sports, Florida State will have assistant coaches Kenny Dillingham and Ron Dugans in the Show-Me State to one their biggest targets left on the board.
Coleman is the No. 63 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 8 wide receiver and the No. 1 prospect in Missouri.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder was considered a Florida State lean at one point. But he has drawn heavy interest from both USC and Oregon. He has taken official visits to all three schools, with the most recent coming Nov. 20 when he saw the Trojans.

USC’s recent hire of Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley could play a major factor in where Coleman ends up committing and signing. The Trojans recently lost a a pair of wide receiver commitments and have just one pledged in the 2022 class. And with Riley taking over, Kevin Coleman could potentially take another official visit to see the Trojans before he ultimately decides where he is going.
Florida State already has a pair of wide receivers committed with four-stars Sam McCall and Devaughn Mortimer. But head coach Mike Norvell continues to look to upgrade the Seminoles’ talent at that position.
