Former Clemson and Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is visiting Florida State this weekend, On3’s Pete Nakos has confirmed.

Uiagalelei is one of the top uncommitted quarterbacks in the transfer portal. He is currently ranked as the No. 6 uncommitted QB in the portal, according to the On3 transfer portal rankings.

The former five-star recruit started his career at Clemson and spent two seasons there, before transferring to Oregon State.

Uiagalelei passed for 2,638 yards and 21 touchdowns this past season for the Beavers. He entered the transfer portal after Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith left for Michigan State.

DJ Uiagalelei signed with Clemson as the No. 2 QB and No. 12 overall player in the country in the class of 2020, according to the On3 Industry rankings.

He has had an up-and-down college career thus far.

As a freshman in 2020, Uiagalelei filled in for Trevor Lawrence when he missed time due to COVID-19 and played well, including passing for 439 yards and two touchdowns at Notre Dame.

Clemson went 10-3 in his first year as a starter in 2021 and won the ACC in 2022. However, Uiagalelei was benched late in the season and eventually entered the transfer portal, before landing at Oregon State.
