Report: Florida State LB Omar Graham Jr. plans to enter NCAA transfer portal

Florida State linebacker Omar Graham Jr. plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports’ Chris Hummer.
Graham is a redshirt sophomore linebacker for the Seminoles who has been a starter for much of the season. He’s coming off his most productive campaign yet.
In two seasons at Florida State, Omar Graham Jr. has logged 60 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, a sack and three passes defended.
Prior to enrolling at Florida State, Graham was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 597 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class. He also checked in as the No. 61 linebacker in the class and the No. 82 overall player in the state of Florida, hailing from Fort Lauderdale (FL) Stranahan.
Omar Graham Jr. not the only transfer portal entrant
While Omar Graham Jr. plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he won’t be the only one from Florida State seeking a fresh start elsewhere.

Florida State TE Jackson West has entered the NCAA transfer portal. On3’s Pete Nakos reported the news early on Friday.
West just finished his fourth season with the Seminoles. He appeared in 20-plus games, on offense at times but also on special teams, for FSU. In that time in Tallahassee, West recorded only three tackles as part of that coverage.
West, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, played high school football at Huntsville. He was the No. 704 overall recruit there as a three-star prospect in the 2021 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as a Top-40 TE in his class and a Top-30 player from out of his state.
On3’s Sam Gillenwater also contributed to this report.
