Florida State offers 2024 top-150 OT Michael Uini
Copperas Cove (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Michael Uini received an offer from Florida State on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.
Uini is the No. 119 overall prospect and No. 6 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 21 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-7, 275-pound recruit announced his top 10 schools on Jan. 5. They included Alabama, Michigan, TCU and Texas among others.

“As of right now, I just went off of the connections, the schools that keep in touch with me, hit me up from (then) and there,” Uini told On3’s Chad Simmons. “If I wanted to go a school, the o-line coach is the main one that I’m going to spend my time. So these top 10 schools are really the teams that hit me up the most.”

Uini spent last weekend on an unofficial visit to the Wolverines. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Longhorns are leading for his commitment at 42.8%.
“I just love what coach (Steve Sarkisian) is doing for the team,” Uini told Simmons about Texas on Jan. 10. “This is his second year and he already has some major recruits. Obviously, they’re trying to rebuild the program. I love that for them.”
