Former West Virginia defensive lineman Tomiwa Durojaiye has committed to Florida State as a transfer, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. A second-time transfer, Durojaiye will have multiple years of eligibility remaining.

Durojaiye began his college career at Kentucky in 2022, where he featured in three games before redshirting. He transferred to West Virginia ahead of the 2023 season and was a decently productive player on the defensive front for the Mountaineers. Durojaiye played in all 13 games for the Mountaineers and had 3.5 sacks and six tackles for loss.

And he’ll now join a Seminoles defensive front that is retooling and reloading after a dominant 2023 season. It will also be his third landing spot in as many seasons playing college football.

Durojaiye played high school football at Middletown (Ky.) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 684 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
