4-star offensive tackle Julian Armella commits to Florida State

Four-star Miami (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas offensive tackle Julian Armella has committed to Florida State, he announced on Wednesday during National Signing Day.
Armella is the No. 140 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is ranked as the nation’s No. 9 offensive tackle and the No. 19 player in the state of Florida. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder chose the Seminoles over nearly three dozen other offers, including Alabama, Florida, LSU and others. He is the Florida State’s 16th commit in the 2022 cycle, joining fellow four-stars Sam McCall, Azareye’h Thomas and six other prospects ranked in the top 400 nationally.
