FSU to get key visit this weekend from Earl Little Jr.
With Florida State struggling on the field, the Seminoles are looking for something to get their recruiting efforts also fired back up on the trail. One prospect that could do that is coveted four-star cornerback Earl Little Jr. of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Little confirmed Thursday that he will be in Tallahassee, Fla., this weekend for an official visit with the Noles.
Earl Little Jr. has had Florida State high on his list for a while now, but Alabama has been at the forefront of his recruitment for quite some time.
For FSU, it’s a monster opportunity to generate some much-needed recruiting momentum with the No. 21 player in the country. A good visit from Little could also send a signal to other prospects that Tallahassee is still a top spot for star recruits.
Little has already officially visited USC on June 11. Little also visited Alabama, Florida State and Miami unofficially over the summer.

After the trip to FSU this weekend, he’ll be at LSU on Oct. 2 for the Tigers’ game against Ole Miss.
Earl Little Jr. will then follow that up with an official visit to Alabama on Nov. 6 for when the Tide host LSU. In-state Florida is also very much a factor in Little’s recruitment.
Unlike other top recruits, Little has been relatively quiet about his feelings and leanings. On3 National Analyst Chad Simmons caught up with Little at his high school late last month.
“Florida State is close to home,” Earl Little Jr. told Simmons. “I feel like I’d have a great opportunity if I go there. They produce a lot of DBs. One particularly is (LA Rams CB and former FSU star) Jalen Ramsey that I look up to and model my game after. He went there and got produced by those coaches. So, I can see myself doing the same thing.”
