Jammie Robinson excited to join legacy of Florida State NFL stars
Florida State has produced a ton of top-notch NFL defensive backs over the years, from Deion Sanders to Jalen Ramsey. Jammie Robinson hopes to be next in line to continue that tradition of excellence.
Prior to showcasing his skills in some of the measurables portions of the 2023 NFL Combine, Robinson spoke about what it would mean to him to carry on the tradition of excellence.
“Honestly it was a blessing to be a part of Florida State,” Robinson said. “It’s a blessing to be in college football, honestly, to be able to play football. I can say I’m going to stand on all ten behind me, whatever it’s going to take.
“I know those guys you mentioned are great players, great people, and I just want to be a great player as well and be a great person outside of football.”
As far as Jammie Robinson’s on the field workouts, he turned in some impressive numbers.
The gifted Florida State defensive back clocked a 4.59-second 40-yard dash, with a 1.58-second 10-yard split. He also hit 33.5 inches on the vertical jump and 9’8″ in the broad jump.
