Florida State offers 2026 QB Jonah Winston
Hoover (Ala.) 2026 quarterback Jonah Winston received an offer from Florida State Saturday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Jonah is the younger brother of former Florida State quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston.
The 5-foot-10, 153-pounder is not ranked by any of the four major recruiting outlets but he does hold offers now from Alabama, Florida State, Marshall, Troy and Texas A&M.
Jameis Winston was ranked as a five-star prospect, the No. 13 player in the country, the No. 1 quarterback and No. 1 player out of Alabama for the 2012 recruiting cycle.
Jameis played two seasons for the Seminoles winning the Heisman as a freshman and leading them to a national championship win over Auburn.

He finished his college career completing 66% of his passes for 7,964 yards and 65 touchdowns. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went on to select him with the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Jameis has played for for the Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints so far during his eight year NFL career. So far in his career he’s passed for 21,840 yards, 139 touchdowns and 96 interceptions.
