Travis has been ruled out for the rest of the game, Norvell told ESPN’s Paul Carcaterra at halftime, and was seen on crutches on the sideline. That means it’s Tate Rodemaker’sshow the rest of the way in the Friday night showdown.
In addition, Verse was seen in street clothes, Carcaterra said. That’s a huge blow to the Seminoles defense considering Verse leads the team in sacks.

Travis was trying to get out of the pocket when a Louisville defender landed on his left leg. He then was helped off the field and called for help once he got the ball out. Once he left, it meant Florida State had to turn to Tate Rodemaker under center.
Travis was off to a hot start in the game, completing his first 11 passes. But he struggled after that, going 13-for-17 for 157 yards and two touchdowns at the time of his injury. He was also trying to help Florida State come back from a 21-14 deficit in the second quarter on the road.
