Jordan Travis shares thoughts on playing bowl in Florida
The Florida State Seminoles are playing in their first bowl game since 2019. For the game, they will travel to Orlando to play Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl.
As quarterback Jordan Travis explained, this is a great opportunity for players to play a game in front of their families, friends, and fans.
“It means a lot,” Jordan Travis. “We have a lot of guys from Florida, so a lot of people’s families can come to the game, which is great.”
“I live two hours away. So, my family will be here. They’re always at the game, but it’s always a blessing, man. You’ve got your family around. We have our fans here. It’s going to be a great week for sure.”
Jordan Travis has broken through this season and helped the Seminoles go to 9-3 on the season. In that record, Florida State has also won five games in a row, including against in-state rivals Florida and Miami. On the season, he has 2,796 yards passing and 22 touchdowns. He ran for an additional seven touchdowns.

Jordan Travis says playing in a bowl is a blessing
Jordan Travis also said that just being able to play in a bowl game, regardless of where it is being played, is a blessing.
“It’s a blessing, for sure, having an opportunity to come here. It’s a great bowl game,” Jordan Travis said.
“We were at a bowl game a couple years ago. (And) just seeing how far we’ve come as a football team? The accomplishments we had this year were amazing. I’m so, so proud of this team. I’m grateful for this team and everybody deserves this.”
