Trader is the No. 14 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Florida.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound wideout has previously made multiple visits to the Seminoles. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Miami is leading for his commitment at 66.7%.
Trader told On3’s Chad Simmons on Sept. 27 that he wants to commit during his senior season. He also addressed his interest in four programs: Florida, Miami, Ohio State and Texas A&M.

Florida: “This (is) their first time really recruiting me. At first, when they (weren’t) recruiting me, they didn’t really pay attention to me, but I noticed that. They did pay attention to other people they had to recruit to get them there, so I noticed that. I understood that. Going on now, they’ve been better recruiting (me), but I feel like they could do more.”

Miami: “They’re doing pretty good as of what I’ve seen last year. They’re moving the ball more. They had a lot of drops, but I understand. Everybody drop(s) the ball. You can’t really go off one game, probably had a bad game. But they’re building something. Their defense is doing better and stuff like that.”
Ohio State: “(Brian Hartline‘s) success, the way he coach(es), I love the way he coach(es). He(‘s) got a passion about it… he teaches technique. Me, I don’t really (have) as good of technique, so I gotta get better on it. So I feel like he could help me on it.”
Texas A&M: “It was a good first experience (visiting the Texas A&M-Miami game). The atmosphere (was) crazy. Crazy every play, every first down and stuff like that. I love to be in that atmosphere.”
