Kiyan Anthony, son of Carmelo Anthony, schedules visit to Florida State
Kiyan Anthony, the top-ranked player in New York, has scheduled his first official visit to Florida State on October 13-14.
The 6-foot-4, class of 2025 shooting guard is the son of 10x NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony.
Kiyan is making a name for himself and is rising up the recruiting rankings. The four-star rising junior ranks as the No. 33 overall player in the country, according to On3’s 2025 Player Rankings.

Along with Florida State, Anthony holds offers from the likes of Memphis, Syracuse (his father’s alma mater), Providence, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, and others.
In a previous interview with On3, Kiyan spoke about carrying his father’s legacy.
“It’s big shoes to fill,” Kiyan said to On3. “I’m not trying to be him exactly, but him passing the torch down to me, it’s pressure but I don’t feel any pressure when I’m on the court. All the work I put in, I just show it on the court. It’s a great feeling, him leaning on me and trusting me to fill those shoes and passing the torch. I’m ready for what’s to come.”
