Memphis (Tenn.) Lausanne Collegiate School four-star quarterback Brock Glenn is announcing his commitment on July 30. He revealed his top five of Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State and TCU this morning.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Seminoles have a commanding lead to land Glenn’s commitment at 71.2%. Auburn has the second-highest odds at 23.9%, while the Buckeyes’ chance is 2.6%.

Glenn, a 6-foot-1.5, 195 pound signal caller, has taken visits to all of his finalists except LSU. He most recently took a trip to Tallahassee on June 10 for an official visit.

“Florida State has an amazing staff,” Glenn told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. “I am super close with almost the entire staff. The staff at FSU works extremely great together, and you can tell they actually care for each other as well as the players. I am a huge relationship guy, and that’s a reason I love FSU so much. Coach Norvell’s offense is really good and it fits me perfectly. I truly believe in Coach Norvell and everything he stands for. He had great offensive success at Memphis as well, which gets me hyped about the potential of him being my coach. FSU also has a great tradition, fan base, and community.”

Recruiting impact if Glenn commits to Florida State

Glenn is rated as the No. 375 overall prospect and No. 20 quarterback in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Tennessee.

If Glenn commits to Florida State, he would be the Seminoles’ only quarterback pledge in their 2023 recruiting class. Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood four-star quarterback Chris Parson was previously committed to Florida State, but he announced his decommitment on July 12.

Florida State’s class is currently ranked No. 18 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and contains six four-stars and three three-stars. The group is led by Highland Home (Ala.) four-star EDGE Keldric Faulk, the No. 69 prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Brock Glenn On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Brock Glenn:

“Pro-style signal caller who is advanced in his ability to scan the field and process the game. Has a well-put-together build that measures in at a shade under 6-foot-2, 195 pounds with just over a 10-inch hand. Ran an electronically-timed 4.78 40-yard dash and 4.25 shuttle as well as a 33.5-inch vertical on the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Has a pretty release and gets the ball up and out quickly. Can improve the natural zip on his ball, as it tends to die on deeper throws. Led Memphis (Tenn.) Lausanne Collegiate to the state semi-finals while throwing for 1,576 yards, 23 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 97 completions for a 63% completion percentage during his junior season. One of the highest floors of all the quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. Will be a safe option for any Power 5 school that takes him and should add instant depth at the minimum early on in his career.”
