Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei to transfer to Florida State
DJ Uiagalelei is headed back to the ACC. The former Oregon State and Clemson quarterback will be transferring to Florida State.
After spending one season on the West coast at Oregon State, Uiagalelei is going back east to a potential College Football Playoff contender. The Seminoles just missed out on this year’s playoffs after going 13-0.
Uiagalelei is coming off a season in which he threw for a career high 2,638 yards and 21 touchdowns, with seven interceptions. He also ran for 219 yards and six scores.
During his four-year college career, Uiagalelei has logged 8,319 passing yards, 57 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. He has run for 1,132 yards and 21 scores.
He’ll immediately bolster a Florida State quarterback room that must replace star Jordan Travis.
