The Florida State players surrounded Travis before he left the stadium on the cart. Following the injury, many people shared touching messages of support across social media, including Florida legend Tim Tebow.
“Breaks my heart to see @jordantrav13. Amazing player and even better young man! You’re such a great example o. I can only imagine how your body and heart hurt right now. Praying for you brother,” Tebow tweeted on Saturday.
Jameis Winston also shared a touching message for Travis
In the first half, shortly after the injury happened, former FSU legend Jameis Winston shared some touching words of support for Jordan Travis.
“Well, I just want to continue to encourage him to stay resilient and continue to persevere,” said Winston. “He was having one of the best years ever in college football and I’m grateful to be rocking his jersey.
“The significance of his number, with us winning the championship in 2013 and him being one of the best quarterbacks this year. Man, I just want to continue to lift him up. Keep your head [up] bro. Stand firm. Be strong, courageous.
“The Lord has a plan for you that nobody can ever even imagine. So, just stay resilient. He has done that. So, I know to him and his family. I just wanna pray for his family. He’s gonna be fine. I know he will.”

Travis has been the driving force behind Florida State’s undefeated season. Losing him would obviously be a massive loss. Backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker got the majority of the reps for Florida State once Travis left the game, but third stringer Brock Glenn came in and got his first touchdown as a Seminole in the fourth quarter.
Jameis Winston honoring the current Florida State QB
Former Florida State star quarterback Jameis Winston was the guest of honor for Saturday night’s contest against North Alabama. But upon his arrival, Winston was showing some love to the Seminoles’ current star signal caller, Jordan Travis.
Week 12’s game against North Alabama was Florida State’s final home game of the season. It also served as Senior Day for the Seminoles’ departing players. Not only that, but the Florida State athletic department elected to honor Winston Saturday night, retiring his jersey, making this weekend a special occasion for Seminoles fans and players of both the past and present.
To celebrate the present, Winston showed up wearing Travis’s jersey, supporting the quarterback, who has a chance to join him as a national champion by the end of this season.
