Bowen breaks down commitment to Florida State

“I really enjoyed my official visit to Florida State and I got along well with the coaching staff,” Bowen said to On3. “I really liked the fit and I can’t wait to get down there.”

“Coach (Leonard) Hamilton has shown a lot of love,” Bowen previously said to On3. “That has been my biggest thing, getting recruitment from the top guy. I think what they have to offer will prepare me, and they have had a lot of guys similar to me.”

Scouting Summary

“Taylor Bol Bowen is a lengthy and athletic forward. He is an elite-level defensive player, able to slide his feet on the perimeter and switch down to guard on the block. Bol Bowen plays with outstanding balance and speed in the open floor. The offensive game is raw; he is becoming more confident in his jump shot, but the release is still inconsistent. The handle needs to become tighter to enable him to get to his spots. He has a reputation as a hard worker, and his defense can be truly game-changing.” – Jamie Shaw, On3’s National Recruiting Analyst
