Florida State wide receiver Andrew Parchment had one of the more unconventional touchdowns of the day for Florida State, picking up a bobbled lateral pass from Jordan Travis.

Travis tried to connect with receiver Ontaria Wilson on a backwards pass. Wilson dropped the pass, and therefore it was a live ball.

Luckily for Florida State, Parchment was thinking on his feet, picked the football up and took it in the for the score.

Watch the clip below.

The touchdown put the Seminoles up in the game, 22-13 with just less than nine minutes remaining in the third quarter.

The score was Parchment’s third touchdown catch of the 2021 season.

He also hauled in a nice catch when Jordan Travis pulled off some Houdini-esque moves to elude Notre Dame defenders in that game.

Watch that clip below.

Parchment transferred to Florida State from the Kansas Jayhawks in the 2021 off-season. He also spent time at Iowa Central Community College. Before that, he had a brief stint at Northern Illinois, during the 2016-2017 season.

In high school, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound receiver played for Cypress Bay High School (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). He tallied 1,700 yards and 12 touchdowns as a multi-faceted weapon. Parchment chose Kansas over offers from UNLV, Ball State, and Hawaii.

Travis Hunter

The Seminoles are in the middle of an excruciatingly painful season, but help is on the way in the form of some of the top recruits in the 2022 recruiting class. Travis Hunter is currently rated the No. 2 overall prospect in America in the Class of 2022 On3 Rankings. However, Hunter did take a visit to Georgia this weekend for the Georgia and Arkansas game.

DawgsHQ on the On3 network confirmed Hunter was in Athens, Georgia this weekend for an unofficial visit. The five-star prospect from Collins Hill (Suwanee, Georgia) suffered a leg injury recently, but does not need surgery, according to his head coach Lenny Gregory.
