Georgetown guard Jayden Epps enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Georgetown guard Jayden Epps has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Jamie Shaw. He averaged 12.8 points, 2.3 assists and 2.1 rebounds this past season for the Hoyas.
Epps played high school basketball at Combine Academy (Suffolk, VA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 81 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Prior to Georgetown, Epps played for Illinois. He spent 31 games with the Fighting Illini during the 2022-23 season, averaging 9.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists. He then spent two seasons with Georgetown, and now he’ll be looking for a new squad during the 2025-26 campaign.

Harris-Smith made 36 appearances and four starts for the Terrapins this season. He averaged 2.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and an assist in 15.3 minutes per game. He shot 39.5% from the field and 20.0% from beyond the arc.
Harris-Smith had his best performance of the season in Maryland’s dominant win over Grand Canyon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. In the triumph, Harris-Smith tallied 11 points and four rebounds in 24 minutes on perfect 5-5 shooting.
Harris-Smith played an even larger role for Maryland during his true freshman season in 2023-24. He averaged 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.5 minutes per game while shooting 36.8% from the floor and 20.2% from 3-point range.
