2025 OT Micah DeBose commits to Georgia

Class of 2025 offensive tackle Micah DeBose of Mobile (AL) Vigor High announced his commitment to Georgia Monday afternoon.

The 6-foot-5, 300 pounder chose the Bulldogs over Penn State, Tennessee, Michigan, and others.

DeBose on why he chose Georgia

“Georgia stood out more than the other schools because they have a great program and I really like what coach Smart is doing with the program,” DeBose said. “It’s not just the football program, the academic aspect as well. I want to go to a school knowing that if I get hurt I will still be taking care of academically and still be able to graduate. The way coach Searles coaches his oline to be disciplined and to be the best. I have also built great relationships with Coach Smart, coach Searles and the rest of the coaching staff. Therefore I would like to officially take my talents to Georgia.”

DeBose is the fourth commitment in coach Smart and the Bulldogs’ Top 5 class in the 2025 team rankings.
