4-star EDGE Caleb Herring picks up offer from Georgia
After a dominant performance at the Atlanta Pylon 7-on-7 tournament Saturday, Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Riverdale four-star EDGE Caleb Herring has earned an offer from Georgia.
Herring is the top player from the state of Tennessee.
On3’s Jeremy Johnson named Herring the second-best performer for the first day of the Atlanta Pylon 7-on-7 tournament yesterday.
“Yes, an edge played 7-on-7,” Johnson said. “Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Riverdale edge Caleb Herring got his hands on a few passes. He also ran with slots and running backs in space all evening. He ran like a big wide receiver chasing around smaller players. Herring possesses length that makes him a coveted prospect.”
Herring is the No. 65 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Georgia has the No. 3 class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking with seven commits, including four top-100 prospects.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
