5-star Shemar Stewart says the Georgia defense is the real deal
Opa Locka (Fla.) Monsignor Pace five-star defensive lineman Shemar Stewart was one of many top prospects in Athens, Ga., on Saturday to watch No. 2 Georgia beat down No. 8 Arkansas.
He was also one of many people in attendance to be thoroughly impressed by the Bulldogs performance.
Stewart tweeted during the game the Georgia defense is for real.
The Georgia defense is one of the best in the country
The No. 2 Bulldogs have been led by their strong defense throughout the season, and Satuday’s game was just another example.
The Razorbacks offense that entered the game playing its best football in years, and Georgia muzzled them.
Arkansas managed only 162 total yards and nine first downs — and failed to score in game for the first time since 2018.
Georgia has the top scoring defense in the country at 4.6 points allowed per game — a full 7.0 points less than second-ranked Iowa. The Bulldogs are also best in the country in yards allowed at 178.6 per game.
