Georgia defensive back transfer Nyland Green entered the NCAA transfer portal and has already received significant interest.

According to On3’s Chad Simmons, Arkansas, North Carolina and UCF are three early schools to watch out for in Green’s recruitment out of the portal.

All three would be lucky to have a talented player who was only just beginning to show what he could do in 2023.

Green saw action as a reserve in all 13 games for the Bulldogs this season, tallying seven tackles and one pass breakup. Across three seasons in Athens, he played in 26 games.

He played high school football at Covington (Ga.) Newton, where he was a four-star cornerback recruit. He was the No. 50 overall prospect and No. 3 CB in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
