Brock Bowers tells hilarious story about getting scared by his own cardboard cutout
Georgia tight end Brock Bowers is one of the best players in all of college football. The All-American tight end is just a sophomore, but he’s already one of the most popular players in the sport. Because of that, plenty of Georgia fans have embraced him by using cardboard cutouts. Sometimes, however, those cutouts can be freaky.
Brock Bowers was asked while speaking to the media if he has a cardboard cutout of himself. He doesn’t, but his mother does and it scared him when he found out about it.
“My mom actually has one [cardboard cutout],” Brock Bowers said. “She does, yeah. She special requested. It freaked me out when I first went home.”

“When I got there in May it was like sitting in the living room. I walk in, it’s like kind of dark in there, it’s spooky because I thought there was like someone standing there.”

These moments, while funny, show the support that Brock Bowers has from his family. As a California native, getting home from Georgia isn’t always the easiest thing for him to do.
“We get some time, like in May,” Brock Bowers explained. “We get a couple weeks. So, that’s like the main time to go home–like Spring break. Get a little break, and 4th of July we get a little break. So, try to just make it out kind of as much as I can.”
Brock Bowers was a consensus four-star tight end in the Class of 2021. He was the top tight end in the class and has more than lived up to expectations.
