Carson Beck will not have the likes of Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey to throw to during the 2024 college football season. However, the Georgia QB1 believes his offense will be just as potent this season.

Leading the Bulldogs offense, some of the playmakers around him have caught his eye during spring ball now into summer training. Beck identified which players fans should keep an eye on offensively this season.

“Obviously, Dominic Lovett is huge. I think he is going to have a huge impact,” Beck said. “Honestly, our whole wide receiver room — it’s just, those guys are so good. I think we have great depth. There’s so many guys that do so many different things very well. And then obviously the running back room. You have [Trevor] Etienne who just transferred and you got Branson Robinson who’s coming off an injury. The things he was able to do his freshman year — he’s a crazy athletic running back.

“I’m excited for the whole year. Just everybody in our whole offense. Our offensive line is coming back, Jared Wilson at center is a very athletic, talented player. I think I’m just excited to see what our offense can do this year, for sure.”

Lovett, who transferred into the program from Missouri ahead of the 2023 season, went for 613 receiving yards last season in his first year as a Bulldog. That came off the heels of a 846-yard season in his last year with the Tigers in 2022. Even more is expected of his as Beck’s go-to guy in 2024.

Meanwhile, Etienne is coming in from rival Florida and is expected to be an instant-impact performance for the Bulldogs this season. Across 279 touches in his career, Etienne has posted 1,710 total yards, good for 6.1 per opportunity, and 15 touchdowns. That’s good for 61.3 rush yards per game and 5.9 per carry. Those also pair with an average of 7.9 receiving yards per catch. Robinson missed last season with a ruptured patella tendon.

None of it would be possible without the help of Georgia’s offensive line, and Beck knows that. Guys like Wilson, Earnest Greene, Xavier Truss, Tate Ratledge, Dylan Fairchild and Micah Morris, among others, will help aid in that effort.

Georgia’s offense will be on full display early and often this season. They kick off the 2024 regular season against Clemson on Aug. 31 before beginning SEC play in Week 3 against Kentucky. A blockbuster Week 4 matchup on the road against Alabama looms as well.
