On3 top-40 IOL Casey Poe sets official visit to Georgia
Lindale (Texas) four-star interior offensive lineman Casey Poe will kick off his slate of official visits this month as he’ll take an official to Georgia on May 19. He announced the news on Twitter.
Poe will also take an official visit to Auburn on June 16 according to Auburn Live’s Jeffrey Lee.
Poe is the No. 151 overall prospect and No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 30 player in Texas.
On3 rates Poe higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, Poe is the No. 34 overall prospect in the country, the No. 1 interior offensive lineman and the No. 8 player in Texas.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Oklahoma holds a slim lead over Texas Tech to land a pledge from Poe.
Poe enjoyed a busy spring taking several visits. Two of those visits were to Georgia as he visited Athens for the first time on March 13 and was back again a few weeks later.

“After seeing their success the last season, I’ve obviously been very interested in Georgia,” Poe told On3 in April. “They are able to continuously win in the hardest conference football has to offer. I was in Georgia this past week, and Coach [Stacy] Searels called me and wanted me to come down for a practice and a visit. In that same phone call, he also offered me.
“The way they practice is unlike any other. They are extremely competitive but also consistently having fun. It’s top-notch.”
Poe noted that Georgia checked all of the boxes he was looking for when considering a school.
“When picking a school, my priorities are how the culture is developed, how the relationship is with my position coach, and how I can be developed as a player, person, and man of God,” Poe said. “They did very well at meeting all of those needs.”
Poe currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $84K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
