On3 Top-100 DL Christian Garrett decommits from Georgia
Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett has decommitted from Georgia, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
He was pledged to the in-state Bulldogs since June 9, when he chose the SEC powerhouse over Georgia Tech, Clemson, Tennessee and USC.
Garrett is the No. 129 overall prospect and No. 11 DL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 15 player in Georgia.
On3 ranks Garrett much higher than other recruiting services. He checks in at No. 62 overall, No. 5 on the DL and No. 9 in the Peach State.
“Clemson, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and others did a great job, but Georgia has everything I am looking for,” Garrett told On3’s Chad Simmons upon his pledge to UGA this summer.

Georgia loses a Top-100 commitment
Georgia’s 2025 class still ranks among the nation’s best despite the loss of Garrett. The class now features 22 commitments, six of whom are top-100 prospects in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Garrett was one of the many in-state standouts that at one time chose the Dawgs this year. All three of Georgia’s five-star pledges — EDGE Isaiah Gibson, tight end Elyiss Williams and linebacker Zayden Walker — all hail from the Peach State.
Kirby Smart’s class still ranks in the top five of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Other top pledges still in the mix include: four-star wideout Talyn Taylor, four-star cornerback Shamari Earls, four-star EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon, four-star CB Jontae Gilbert and four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery.
